According to the monitoring by the State Unitary Enterprise “Pricing in the Construction Sector”, the average price per square meter of housing in multi-story buildings in Dushanbe is $626, the agency cites Jamshed Ahmadzoda, chairman of the Committee on Architecture and Construction under the government of the Republic of Tajikistan, saying.
The price per square meter of housing built by Manzili Dastras company, he added, makes $350.
He also reminded, at the beginning of the year the average cost per square meter of housing in high-rise buildings of the capital ranged within $350-$600.
Growing prices, the official said, have been driven by increase in prices for imported construction materials from other countries.
Before the price drop, one square meter in the center of the developers was offered at a price ranging within $800-$1,300.
