Hungarians will demonstrate their national games at the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. June 14. Silkroadnews – At the World Nomad Games to be held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, in September 2016, Hungarians will demonstrate their national games, KyrTAG writes.

“At the second World Nomad Games Hungarians will demonstrate their national games. They expressed their intention to take part in our games as they also describe themselves as nomads,” said the press officer of the government’s plenipotentiary representative in the region Janybek Kozhoev on Tuesday.

The authorized representative of the government of Kyrgyzstan in Issyk-Kul region Askhat Akibaev said, “this year the opening ceremony of the games and some of the contests will be held at the new hippodrome”.

“There is also a sport and forum complex of the nomadic civilization center starting its operation in the Issyk-Kul region. Yurt ethnic town, where the “Games of the peoples of the world” along with other cultural events and ethnic and sport contests to be held, will be set in the Kyrchyn mountain area. The games presentations have been carried out in many countries around the world. The delegations from about 40 countries have been invited to take part in our event,” he said.

In his turn, chairman of the Greater Hungarian Kurultai Zsolt András Bíró noted that “the World Kurultai of Hungary hosts around 150 thousand people, yet, it shall be noted that the World Nomad Games, undoubtedly, have become an international brand”.

“We are ready to take part in the Second World Nomad Games and show our program. In addition, we can provide the necessary assistance to the organizers of the games, for example, in terms of security measures provision,” the chairman of the Hungarian Kurultai said.
