Almaty. January 16. Silkroadnews - The International Energy Agency (IEA) has maintained forecast for world oil demand in 2015 at 93.3 million barrels per day, reports KazTAG.
According to the IEA report for January, "macroeconomic weakness continues to constrain global oil demand".
"Despite the decline in the price of Brent futures to six-year low, demand in 2015 is forecast to increase by only 900 thousand barrels per day, which corresponds to the forecast in the December report", - the document says.
The volume of production in OPEC countries increased by 80 thousand barrels per day, in December to 30.48 million b/d.
