IMF has included the yuan into the basket of special drawing rights

Almaty. December 2. Silkroadnews - International Monetary Fund (IMF) has included the Chinese yuan into the composition of its indicative currency basket, reported media.
The decision will come into force on October 1, 2016.
How writes the media, the inclusion of the yuan in the basket of currencies is largely a symbolic gesture. That is, unlikely to have an immediate impact on the financial markets. However, this is the first case of a new currency in the basket of the IMF and a strong change of its composition for the last 35 years.
