In 2 weeks Iran will receive the first 4 aircraft from ATR

Almaty. April 12. Silkroadnews – Within two weeks Iran will receive the first 4 jetliners from the French-Italian company ATR, Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
“According to the contract, between Iran Air and ATR for purchase of 20 ATR 72-600 aircraft, Iran will receive the first four aircraft within the next 15 days”, the report said.
Another 9 planes will also be delivered to Iran by the end of the year, and the remaining 7 aircraft will be delivered in 2018.
Iran Air and ATR spent months negotiating the delivery of 20 ATR 72-600 aircraft for the amount of 540 million euros ($576 million) at catalog prices, with possibility of expanding supplies for another 20 aircraft.
