In Astana the secretaries of the SCO member-states Security Council will discuss cooperation on countering threats to regional security

Almaty. April 5. Silkroadnews – On April 5-6, 2017, Astana will host the twelfth annual meeting of secretaries of security councils of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, the press service of the Russian Security Council reported.
“It is planned to discuss the issues of the SCO member states’ cooperation in confronting modern challenges and threats to regional and international security, including terrorism and illicit drug trafficking”, the security council informed.
It is also reported that the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev will hold a number of bilateral meetings with SCO partners.
