Almaty. February 26. Silkroadnews - In January Tajikistan has reduced the import of vehicles by almost 37%, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
The total amount of imported vehicles for January 2014 is more than $23.9 million. During the same period in 2013, the vehicles were imported in the amount of $37.8 million.
Noted that, in general, imported imported used cars, mainly from the Baltic States and Europe.
Meanwhile, it should be emphasized that the export (re-export) of vehicles has increased in comparison with the same period in 2013 by 70.3%, or $400 thousand.
The amount of export of vehicles in the period amounted to more than $896 thousand. In January 2013, this figure was more than $526 thousand.
