Almaty. June 9. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan, 40% of the population is facing a shortage of drinking water, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) referring to the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan on Water Forum of Women.
As noted, the main goal of the event is a continuation of the dialogue on improving the role of women in water resources management.
The forum was attended by representatives of the government, donor agencies, water users' associations, international organizations working on ​​improving access to drinking water and sanitation in Africa, Jordan, Japan, Central Asia and Europe, and representatives of the media.
