Almaty. November 26. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan in early November by nearly 28% increased the total amount of balances of loans in the national banking system, compared with the same period in 2013, reported the news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
"The total amount of the balances of credits at the end of October this year amounted to more than 9 billion 271 million Somoni (more than $1.8 billion)", - the press service of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
As noted, the residues in the structure of loans, 55.6% are short-term loans and 44.4% - long-term loans.
"In January-October 2014 the weighted average percentage of loans in national currency amounted to 24.72% and in foreign currency - 23.43% per annum", - said the NBT, adding that the volume of microcredits for 10 months of 2014 increased compared to the same period last year to 29.1%.
In particular, the remote mountain areas of the country issued microloans compared with the same period in 2013 by 26.6% more.
