In Tajikistan the foreign trade turnover decreased by almost 12% to $304 million in January

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan’s foreign trade turnover in January made about $304 million, having decreased compared to the same period of the last year by almost 12%, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Tuesday.
“In January 2016 the foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan amounted to $303.9 million, which is 11.9% decrease compared with January 2015,” - says the publication.
The trade balance was negative this January and made $175.8 million.
The amount of products exported during this period made $64.1 million, which is 31.7% less compared to the last year.
The imported goods volume is worth $239.8 million, in comparison with the last year it decreased by 4.5%.
The quantity of Tajikistan’s global trade partners this January numbered 77 countries.
On January 2016 results the turnover volume between Tajikistan and Russia exceeded $72 million, between Tajikistan and China it made about $96 million.
