In Vienna, diplomats from 19 countries agreed on the formation of a new transitional government in Syria

Almaty. November 2. Silkroadnews - Vienna hosted a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the 19 countries on the situation in Syria, reports the Russian service of the BBC.
"In a joint statement after the talks, the ministers called for the holding of meetings with representatives of the Syrian government and the opposition. The outcome of such a meeting, the statement said, should be the formation of a new transitional government that will lead the country until the next election. Prior to such meeting, all parties of the negotiations, which were attended by a number of important regional players, promised to achieve the ceasefire throughout the country",- says the publication.
Parties, however, failed to agree on the fate of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The role of al-Assad remains central in negotiations.
Also, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, told reporters that diplomats agreed to create a special body, which will deal with the constitutional reform, the parliamentary and presidential elections in Syria.
The talks attended by 19 delegations, including Russia, the US, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Germany, France, Egypt, Italy, Great Britain, Iraq and Lebanon.
