Bishkek. March 31. Silkroadnews - informal leadership in Kyrgyzstan gradually transfers from the executive branch to NGO sector. This opinion was expressed by the political analyst, Mars Sariyev at the "Prospects for military cooperation of Kyrgyzstan in 2014" round table in Bishkek.
His data shows that some of the NGOs in Kyrgyzstan are taking over the managerial function of the government. "NGOs are well-financed by some Western actors. State officials are gradually declining in leadership. It is very important to evaluate the situation correctly and take control of that situation ourselves. Otherwise, we will always be one step behind our opponents", the expert said.
"If Kyrgyzstan is to get destabilised and it is to become the guerrilla country, the military equipment and armaments that were provided by Russia could end up being used by radical forces. As for the radical elements themselves, they already came here from Afghanistan", Mister Sariyev says.
Military expert Malik Jumagulov expressed a similar opinion. As he reckons, after the withdrawal of coalition forces from Afghanistan, extremists won't have to use mountain routes with their armaments to reach Kyrgyzstan.
"Those forces are already here waiting for a signal to act and we don't want that to happen. This conclusion is evident when one remembers about Kyrgyz nationals who went to Syria to join the extremist forces and who ought to come back. The same conclusion can be made if one keeps in mind acceleration of activities by Uighur separatists in China", Mister Jumagulov says.
