Integration to be based on economic pragmatism – President Nazarbayev

Astana. April 18. Silkroadnews – Integration should be based on economic pragmatism as opposed to political conjuncture, as President Nazarbayev thinks.
“Integration is only successful and beneficial, when it is based on well-assessed economic pragmatism, as opposed to political conjuncture. There should be benefit for every integrating state and for its people. That is the type of integration that makes people’s lives better, creates good conditions for employment and business development, creates new opportunities for economic development”, Nazarbayev said at the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan in Astana.
“When amateurs are talking about what is beneficial, and what is not, we need to give good explanations to them and rebuff them”, he added.
