International Olympic base to be built on Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek. April 18. Silkroadnews – International Olympic base is to be built on the eastern coast of Lake Issyk-Kul, as the chairman of Kyrgyz Chamber of Trade and Industry Marat Sharshkeyev reported at the meeting of Kyrgyz and Chinese entrepreneurs.
“The Kyrgyz Chamber of Trade and Industryinitiates the project to built International Olympic base on the eastern coast of Lake Issyk-Kul in the town of Karakol. The base will have residence halls, training halls, conference halls and swimming pools”, Mister Sharksheyev reports.
Estimated cost of the project is USD 250 mln.
“We don’t have this kind of Centre in Bishkek, let alone in Kyrgyzstan. We are currently looking for partners to invest in the project. Russia, China and Kyrgyzstan could become parts of this project. As for construction materials and builders, we are hoping to have Chinese contractors specifically”, he noticed.
