Investment inflow to Kyrgyzstan in 2014 decreased by 1.6 times

Almaty. April 23. Silkroadnews - In 2014, the inflow of foreign direct investment in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 1.6 times, capital outflows increased by 24.6%. This was announced by Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev, reports KyrTAG.
According to him, this situation happened due to a complex geo-economic situation prevailing in the countries - main trade partners. In particular, due to the imposition of economic sanctions against Russia, a significant reduction in raw material prices in the world market, the collapse of the exchange rate due to the strengthening of the US dollar.
"In 2014 the net inflow of remittances of individuals amounted to $1 billion 811.9 million", - he said.
According to him, these rate decreased by 5.1% compared to 2013 year.
