Iran agreed with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to supply exports from Gulistan

Almaty. October 16. Silkroadnews - Iranian province of Gulistan concluded with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan 27 memorandums on cooperation in the sphere of export sales, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
Vice-Governor of the province of Gulistan on planning and employment Ali Margdori reported that 14 agreements were signed with the Kazakh side, and 13 - with the Turkmen.
According to him, the province created 5 ad hoc working groups, who are responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of these agreements, and interagency coordination efforts and measures to increase the export of goods produced in Gulistan to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
However, the vice-governor said that the issue of establishing an uninterrupted supply of exports from Gulistan to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan requires a systematic and integrated approach by all relevant agencies and departments of the province, as well as the private sector. However, he complained about the lack of liquidity for the export potential of the province, urged the leadership of the local banks to provide assistance in financing projects aimed at the development of exports from the province.
According to official statistics, in the first half of the current Iranian year from Gulistan province has been exported abroad various products totaling $175 million.
Gulistan province is located in the northeast of Iran and borders with Turkmenistan.
