Iran and Georgia intend to cancel the visa regime
Almaty. February 9. Silkroadnews - Iran and Georgia should improve their relations in all the fields. This was stated by the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani during a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, IrTAG reports.
“Economic and cultural cooperation between Iran and Georgia shall be strengthened in accordance with the interests of the two people,” - said H. Rouhani.
The Iranian president also added that Tehran and Tbilisi have great potential to improve their economic cooperation and noted that cancellation of the visa regime between the two countries shall contribute to improve relations.
In his turn G. Kvirikashvili noted that Georgia is ready to open a new chapter in bilateral relations.
The Georgian Prime Minister also said he is going to visit Tehran in the nearest future and invited the Iranian President to visit Tbilisi.
