Iran and South Korea signed 22 memoranda on transfer of technology

Almaty. December 12. Silkroadnews - Iran and South Korea signed 22 memoranda on the transfer of technology, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports with reference to the Iran Daily newspaper.
“Iranian and South Korean private sectors signed 22 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on the transfer of technology. The MoUs were signed during the fourth meeting themed ‘Exchanging Technology; Pivot of Iran and South Korea Small and Medium Corporations’ which was attended by eight foreign and 50 Iranian corporations involved in different fields, including production of heating and cooling insulations, solar panels, renewable energies, lithium batteries and electric engines,” the report says.
It is noted that the development of small and medium-sized enterprises will allow Iran to be rescued from the mono-product economy.
As the publication reminds, about 16 memoranda of understanding were signed between the Iranian and South Korean private sector’ companies last April. Ten other memoranda of cooperation were signed during the second meeting on the transfer of technology by 40 Iranian and nine South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises in tools manufacturing, fisheries, beekeeping, biological fertilizers, oil and gas, etc.
Following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, South Korea announced the readiness of its banks to provide financial and credit lines for Iranian projects.
South Korea is one of the five countries that have the most extensive trade links with Iran, both in terms of imports and exports.
