Iran and the IAEA will strengthen the work on controversial issues of Iran's nuclear program

Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews - Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation for the speedy resolution of disputes that remain on Iran's nuclear program. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Arakhchi after a meeting with the head of the IAEA, Yukiya Amano, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Tuesday.
Iranian diplomat stressed that the talks were held in "constructive manner and were helpful".  However, he did not specify whether it was possible to complete the work on two open questions of control over nuclear research or agree on a new package of measures.
The deputy head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Iran and the United States in the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program in Geneva were able to make some progress, the US position was constructive.
According to him, the sides discussed all the difficult questions, "including sanctions, which remains a key issue for Iran".
"The American presence was very constructive, attended two of the Secretary (US Secretary of State John Kerry and US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz - Silkroadnews), it helped to make progress", - concluded Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran.
