Iran and Turkey are going to join forces in the fight against terrorism in the Middle East

Almaty. December 18. Silkroadnews - «Tehran and Ankara are determined to consolidate joint efforts in the fight against terrorism and extremism in the region. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif after talks in the Iranian capital with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu",- says the publication.
According J.Zarif, despite some differences, both countries need to join forces in the fight against a common enemy in the face of terrorism, extremism and separatism, and try to prevent the infiltration of foreign fighters in the territory covered by the bloodshed in Iraq and Syria.
The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed hope that Tehran and Ankara will be able to pull together as much as possible its position regarding the Syrian crisis.
In turn, Cavusoglu called Iran and Turkey important geopolitical players in the region, stressing that they are the only countries whose leadership is full of determination and political will to wage an uncompromising struggle against terrorism and extremism.
