Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia agreed to cooperate in intelligence service

Almaty. April 7. Silkroadnews - Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia agreed to cooperate in intelligence services, as well as in the framework of other sectoral ministries, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said on the results of the trilateral meeting with foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan, TASS agency reported.

“Some sectoral ministries have already been involved in the process of trilateral cooperation, including the intelligence sector. Our specialists have already been working. The start has been made and turned to be good,” the minister said.

In addition, J. Zarif said, there are opportunities for the countries to cooperate in the fields of transport, both maritime and highways.

“We have agreed on the joint operation of the consular and customs services within the framework of the trilateral work, we have also agreed on issues of joint work in the private sector. This will become the driver to boost our relations development,” J. Zarif added.

The cooperation between Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia will serve the interests of security and stability in the region, the Iranian minister emphasized.

Tehran expects the Russia-Azerbaijan-Iran summit to be held, he also added.
