Iran has drilled 118 new oil and gas wells

Almaty. December 30. Silkroadnews - Iran has drilled 118 new oil and gas wells, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"National Iranian Drilling Company drilled this year across the country 118 oil and gas wells", - says the publication.
According to the deputy director general of the national company Mehran Mekvandi, wells were drilled on land and at sea, the total length was 282 thousand 560 m.
At the same time, he noted that drilling on 14 of them were completed ahead of schedule, which made it possible to accelerate the exploitation of new deposits. M.Mekvandi said that at the disposal of the national drilling company there are 74 land and offshore drilling rigs in the oil-rich regions of the ten Iranian provinces.
It should be noted that the National Drilling Company is subordinate to the National Iranian Oil Company.
