Iran has opened a recycling plant for electricity generation worth $17 million

Almaty. February 13. Silkroadnews - Iran has commissioned a recycling plant "Aradkuh" for electricity generation, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Friday.
The new facility, which was built in cooperation with Chinese experts in Kahrizak south of Tehran, will process more than 72 thousand tonnes of waste per year. The design capacity is 3 MW of electricity.
Implementation of the project for the construction of a waste recycling plant "Aradkuh" took three years and cost nearly $ 17 million.
According to forecasts of Power, by the end of the current Iranian year (to 20 March 2015), the volume of electricity generation in the country at the expense of renewable energy should reach 400 MW, which is almost two times more than in the previous year.
As of December 2014, the total capacity of electricity generation capacity of Iran amounted to almost 73 thousand MW.
