Iran has put into operation the first largest wind power plant in the Middle East

Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews - The first phase of the largest wind power plant in the Middle East was launched in Iran, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
It is reported that the total generating capacity of wind power plants (WT), put into operation in the province of Qazvin in northern Iran, is 20 MW, while the total design capacity after complete delivery of the power plant's operation will be 100 MW.
The cost of the first phase of the project amounted to 30 million euros, and in general the implementation of this project is planned to spend 150 million euros.
Construction and commissioning of wind power in Qazvin engaged Iranian concern MAPNA Group, which plans to complete all the work on this project over the next two years.
