Iran increases funding for national development projects

Almaty. December 3. Silkroadnews - The Iranian government intends to significantly increase funding for national development projects in the country, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Wednesday.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in his speech in Gurgon announced thar Cabinet is now considering a bill to increase the development budget for 50 trillion rials (about US $1.47 billion). Thus, in his words, under this bill for the implementation of the national projects for the development of next year, the state will send 461 trillion rials (about $14 billion), more than the sum of the current budget for nearly $1.5 billion.
In general, this year for the implementation of these national projects the government has allocated more than 200 trillion rials (about $6 billion), and by the end of the year, this amount will be increased to 300 trillion rials ($9 billion), said Rouhani.
According to official figures, the Islamic republic budget for the current year on the Iranian calendar was formed at a rate of 7.93 quadrillion rials (over US $240 billion).
Recall that the Iranian new year begins on March 21.
