Iran intends to request from Afghanistan additional water resources for ecosystems "Hamun"

Almaty. July 30. Silkroadnews - Iran intends to request from Afghanistan additional water resources for the ecological system "Hamun", transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Wednesday.
"Iran is ready to supply fuel, lubricants and electricity to Afghanistan in exchange for additional water resources. Authorities intend to request from Afghanistan large amounts of water in order to prevent further drying of the ecosystem "Hamun" in southeastern Iran",- says the agency.
The governor of the Iranian province Sistan and Baluchistan Auvsat Hashemi on Tuesday said that the question of the measures taken by the Iranian authorities to rescue the dying ecosystem is one of the key topics of the talks with his Afghan counterpart.
A.Hashemi pointed out that the province of Sistan and Baluchistan is fully able to meet the needs Afghanistan domestic fuel market.
