Iran is planning to allocate $180 billion to the development of oil and gas by 2022

Almaty. May 8. Silkroadnes - Iran will send $180 billion to the development and modernization of the oil and gas industry by 2022. This was stated by Minister of Petroleum of Iran Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
According to the minister, the government of Iran has developed a special program to attract funding from domestic sources and foreign investments needed for successful implementation of this ambitious plan.
B.Zangane recalled that in recent years because of US and EU sanctions, Tehran was forced to cut oil exports to 1 million barrels per day. Nevertheless, he said, Iran is determined to recover before-sanctions position in the global energy market, increasing the volume of oil exports at least four times.
He also called the repeal of all anti-Iran sanctions - prerequisite for future long-term agreement on Iran's nuclear program between Iran and the "six" of international mediators.
