According to the latest monthly report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Tehran today continues to fulfill its obligations under the Geneva interim agreement on its nuclear program. Thus, the Islamic Republic has impoverished the more than 4,100 kg of low-enriched uranium to the level of natural uranium, the document says.
It should be noted that this was one of the conditions of the interim agreement that Iran has undertaken in order to allay the fears of the West about the nature of its nuclear program. According to some analysts, this fact should play an important role in the international efforts under the aegis of the United Nations to develop a final comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue to 24 November this year.
