Iran offered Uzbekistan to supply up to 1 million ton of oil per year by the international transport corridor

Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - Iran offers Uzbekistan to establish the supply of oil in the amount of 1 million tons per year through the transport corridor Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran - Oman, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) with reference to the Iranian Embassy in Tashkent.
Moreover, cooperation between the two countries is developing dynamically.
In November 2013, Iran provided Uzbekistan discount of 30% on the transit of cotton by rail. They will be valid for 1 year, with a further extension of the agreement by the parties.
Uzbekistan exports to Iran, cotton, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, fertilizers, man-made fiber. Iran supplies Uzbekistan with building materials, detergents, food, tea, fruit.
Recall that the agreement on the establishment of a new international transport corridor Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan - Iran - Oman, which will connect the Central Asian states to the ports of the Persian Gulf, was signed in April 2011.
In early August 2014 the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Oman signed a memorandum of understanding on the entry into force of the agreement on the creation of the corridor.
