Iran oil export increased up to 1.4 million barrels per day in February

Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews - In February, the first month after the international sanctions removal, The Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) has increased its oil export up to 1.4 million barrels per day.
According to mass media, International Affairs Director of National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC) Mohsen Ghamsari said that in March Iran could further increase export up to 1.56 million barrels a day.
    The bulk of the supply goes to the European countries. At the same time, the Eastern Europe is being considered as a potentially new market for the Iranian oil, he added.
The Greek company Hellenic Petroleum can increase the oil import from Iran more than two times, according to the Iranian news agency Shana referring to the representatives of the country’s Ministry of Energy. The agreement on this was reached during the visit of the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to Iran in early February.
Oil deliveries for the Greek company can reach 150 000 barrels per day, according to the Ministry of Energy of Iran.
