Beijing. June 25. Silkroadnews - Iran’s judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said that Iran’s enemies are using human rights as a tool to put pressure on the country, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
Larijani said this in a live television interview on the occasion of the week of the Iranian National Judiciary. He expressed regret that some people inside the country and abroad believe the fake news, saying the international human rights agencies receive information from the anti-Iran terrorist organization of the Mujahidin (Mujahedin Khalq).
As for the pressure on the judiciary on execution cases, the Islamic Republic News Agency reports, Larijani noted, the UN and U.S. accusations against Iran regarding human rights violations are inappropriate, as the U.S. itself is committed the greatest crimes inside and outside the region.
He also pointed to the crises in Yemen, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan as manifestations of human rights violations and expressed surprise over the U.S. accusing Iran of violating human rights.
