Iran’s non-oil trade sector with Caspian states fell by a third

Beijing. Jul 17. Silkroadnews - The volume of Iran’s non-oil trade with the coastal states of the Caspian Sea reached $2.05 billion over the past 1396 Iranian fiscal year (ending March 20, 2018), 35.43% down compared to a year before, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
The data is based on the statistics by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, the Financial Tribune reports.
Last year the total non-oil trade turnover between Iran and other countries amounted to $101.23 billion, 15.5% up compared to the previous year.
Exports, during the 12-month period, reached $46.93 billion (a 6.56% increase), and imports - $54.3 billion (a 24.31% increase).
The above figures show, the non-oil trade of Iran with the Caspian states last year accounted for 2.02% of the country’s total foreign trade only
