Iran’s oil production grew 100,000 barrels per day in August

Almaty. September 4. Silkroadnews – Iran’s oil production increased by 100,000 barrels per day in August, Hellenic Shipping News portal reported.
“Iranian crude oil production increased by 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) in August from its previous month. According to the latest data released by Reuters, exempted from the OPEC, non-OPEC curbs, Iran has increased its crude output to 3.79 million bpd in August from 3.78 million bpd in July”, report said.
The output of 13 OPEC members fell by 170,000 bpd in August compared to July, while the supply of oil from 11 OPEC members declined by 60,000 bpd.
As reported, in an effort to support prices, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries has begun to reduce production by 1.2 million bpd from January 1. The August data show that, in most cases, 11 OPEC members have reduced output by 1.038 million bpd.
