Iran’s president expresses condolences over Iran’s plane crash

Beijing. February 19. Silkroadnews - Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani expressed his condolences over the crash of Aseman passenger plane in Isfahan province killing all 66 people on board, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
Rouhani ordered the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Abbas Akhoundi to form a special committee to investigate the incident.
“I hereby express sympathy with the bereaved families and offer my condolences to the Iranian nation, asking the Almighty mercy for those who lost their lives, and patience and rewards for their bereaved families,” the president said.
The Aseman Airline’s Tehran-Yasuj flight crashed near the city of Semirom, province of Isfahan, 50 minutes after taking off. ATR-72 plane crashed into Dena mountain, having killed 60 passengers, including one child, and 6 crew members, IRNA reports.
