Iran switched to winter time
Almaty. September 23. Silkroadnews - «In Iran, the clock moved back one hour, marking the country's transition to winter time", reports IrTAG.
It is noted that on the basis of the law "On change of official time" in the country as of 2007, the Parliament decided to transfer hours in Iran for one hour back. This change came into effect on September 22, 2014 at midnight local time.
It should be noted that the transition to Daylight Saving Time in Iran takes place twice a year: the first day of the month Farvardin (21 or 22 March in the Gregorian calendar) - one hour ahead; and 30th of Shahrivar (21 or 22 September) - an hour back.
