At the end of December, peaceful protests on the economic problems broke out in a number of Iranian cities, in some cases rallies took the form of riots, when groups of provocateurs, some of them were armed, staged vandalism, violated public order and safety, attacked police stations and government buildings.
After the riots in Iran, demonstrations were held to protest riots and violence and support the Islamic Republic.
The security forces say that many of the rioters arrested during the recent riots have been trained by the terrorists or had ties to the Takfiri terrorist groups.
