Iran to help Tajikistan in the implementation of infrastructure projects and the construction of hydroelectric power station

Dushanbe. September 11. Silkroadnews - Iran will contribute to the implementation of infrastructure projects and the construction of hydroelectric power plants of RT, transmits TajikTA.
The statement was made by President Emomali Rahmon on the basis of the signing of bilateral agreements between the two countries. Following the talks were signed new cooperation documents. Total to date between the two countries have signed more than 100 documents, the "effective implementation of which has now grown into a very important and significant issue".
Head of RT also said that during the talks the main focus was on economic cooperation. He also noted that Tajikistan and Iran will continue full support of activities of the joint intergovernmental commission on cooperation.
According to him, Iran intends to encourage and support the establishment of joint industrial enterprises in Tajikistan.
"We offered our Iranian partners together to take measures to eliminate technical barriers to the promotion of bilateral trade and the diversification of its structure", - said Rahmon, adding that the talks stressed the need to expand the links between trade and industry chambers and bodies associated with the development of business between the two countries.
President of Tajikistan, in the discussion of regional issues underlined a special issues related to Afghanistan.
"We have urged the international community to actively contribute to the process of economic recovery and development in neighboring Afghanistan", - he said.
