Iran will build almost fifty small hydroelectric power stations in Indonesia

Almaty. May 26. Silkroadnews - Iran will help Indonesia to build nearly fifty small hydro power plants in the next 5 years, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
The agreement was reached at a meeting of the Minister of Energy of Iran Hamid Chitchian with a Senior Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Sofyan Jalil, who arrived in Tehran to attend the 11th session of the Iran-Indonesian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
According H.Chitchiyan, the total number of small hydropower plants, which Iranian companies have pledged to complete at the archipelago in 2020, will be 48. However, their design capacity will vary from 1 to 10 MW.
Following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission also signed a memorandum on cooperation between Iran and Indonesia in the field of industry, trade and investment, as well as customs and banking cooperation.
