Iran will resume exploratory drilling in the Caspian Sea

Almaty. July 2. Silkroadnews - Iranian Drilling Company North Drilling Co. is getting prepared for the drilling of new wells in the Caspian Sea, reports Trend.
"Iran still carries out exploration drilling in the Caspian Sea using the semi-submersible drilling platform "Amir Kabir"(SSDU). By the end of 2011 it was announced that Iran has discovered a large gas field. But a few months later, Iran announced that the deposit Sardar Jangal-e contains both oil and gas", - says the publication.
Currently, the platform "Amir Kabir" conducted a series of repairs, after which the company will drill the next well in the Caspian Sea commissioned by Iranian Oil Company.
