Almaty. October 20. Silkroadnews - Iran will return its market share in seven months after the lifting of sanctions, reported the newspaper "Vedomosti".
"Iran is able to increase production by 500 thousand barrels per day immediately after the lifting of sanctions",- said the publication with reference to the country's oil minister Bijan Zanganeh.
Iran is able to increase production to the levels seen before the introduction of sanctions in 7 months. In September, Iran, according to the estimations of Bloomberg, produced 2.8 million barrels a day. Before sanctions production was 3.4 million barrels per day.
Iran will not wait for permission from the OPEC to start to increase production, said B.Zanganeh, as during the years of sanctions the country has lost market share and customers, who have gone to its competitors.
