Iran will send $25 billion for the development of the tourism industry in the next 10 years

Almaty. September 18. Silkroadnews - In the next 10 years, Iran plans to send $25 billion for the development of the tourism industry of the country, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"Specialists of Ministry developed and produced 1.3 thousand projects, which will require an investment of $25 billion", - said the director of the Organization for Culture, Tourism and Crafts Iran (OKTRIRI) Masood Sultonifar.
According to plan of long-term development of the country until 2025, Iran plans to take 20 million foreign tourists a year and bring foreign exchange earnings from the tourism industry up to $30 billion a year.
At the moment, Iran has about 1.1 thousand hotels, of which the share of four- and five-star hotels account for only 12%, and by 2025 there should be at least 400.
