Iranian automaker renews a co-production with the French Peugeot and Renault

Almaty. July 31. Silkroadnews - French carmaker Peugeot and the largest carmaker of Iran "Iran hodrou" agreed to establish a joint venture in the territory of the Islamic Republic, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Thursday.
According to director of the automotive industry group "Iran hodrou" Hashem Yekezare, the decision was made by both parties in order to increase export volumes and exchange of scientific and technical expertise.
H.Yekezare noted that at first times, the new plant will assebly such well-known model of the French auto giant, as the Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 301.
The director of "Iran hodrou" added that his group has also reached an agreement with Renault to establish co-production of passenger cars in Iran.
