Iranian companies have not yet expressed interest in the construction of a grain terminal on the border between Turkmenistan and Iran

Astana. May 26. Silkroadnews - Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) has not yet shown interest in the construction of a grain terminal on the Turkmen-Iranian border. This is reported in the JSC "National Company "Food Contract Corporation", KazTAG reports.
"For the purpose of construction of grain terminal on a public-private partnership, corporation previously held preliminary talks with a number of Iranian companies. However, these companies have not shown an interest in the project", - reported in the Food Corporation.
According to the company, the Iranian side intends to build a plant for changing of wheel pairs on its territory, at the station Incheburun.
In view of this the question of the validity of the construction of a grain terminal in the railway section between Turkmenistan and Iran will be decided after the completion of construction.
