Iranian crude output to raise up to 6 million barrels per day - IEA

Almaty. November 18. Silkroadnews – According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), Iranian crude output will raise up to 6 million barrels per day by 2040, Trend reports.

At present Iran produces about 3.7 million barrels per day.

“Oil demand growth will slow down over the forecasted period, though the global crude production will total 103 million barrels per day by 2040”, the IEA report shows.

In October 2016 global oil supply amounted to 97.8 million barrels per day.

According to the IEA, global demand for gas, as it was expected earlier, will increase by 50% by 2040.
