Iranian Kashan exports about 2 thousand tonnes of rose water and rose oil a year
Almaty. May 12. Silkroadnews – Iranian Shahrestan Kashan exports about 2 thousand tonnes of rose water and rose oil, amounting to 70% of Iran’s total exports of these products, every year, IrTAG reports.
The major direction of rose water and rose oil exports are the coastal countries of the Persian Gulf and states of the European Union. As the Governor of Kashan Hamid-Reza Momenian said, the cost of exporting rose water from Kashan is about $14 million per year.
The official also noted there are the plans to produce 7 thousand tonnes of Damascus rose, the primary resource for rose water production, on 2500 hectares in Kashan.
