Iranian Petrochemical Plant intends to increase exports to Russia, Turkey, Central Asian countries

Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - Supply of petrochemical products from Iran to Russia, Turkey and the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus will be increased, reports the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Friday.
As the director of marketing and sales of petrochemical plant "Jam" Iran Mohsen Farah, the company's management has developed a strategy, according to which expected significant increase in the volume of exports of petrochemical products to the markets of Russia, Turkey, Central Asian and Caucasian states.
According to him, since the beginning of the current Iranian year the combine has been exported to Turkey polymer products with a total weight of 35 thousand tons, and to Russia and the Central Asian countries - more than 10 thousand tons. In total for the period, the company has exported more than 330 thousand tons of various petrochemical products.
However, speaking on exports over the past year (21.03.2013 - 03.20.2014)  M. Farah reported that the plant "Jam" put to foreign markets polymeric materials with a total weight of about 2 million tons. Despite the ongoing international sanctions against the Islamic Republic, the volume of these deliveries compared with those of the previous year increased in weight terms by 34% and in monetary terms - by 41%.
Petrochemical Plant "Jam" is located in a special economic zone "South Pars" in the southern province of Bushehr, and among the five largest companies of this type of Iran. At the same time built the mill plant for the production of olefins which is considered the largest in Iran and throughout the world this type of installation. Its production capacity is 1.32 million tons of ethylene and 306 thousand tons of propylene per year.
