Iranians will be provided electronic passports

Almaty. December 30. Silkroadnews - Iran unveiled a new electronic passport system for citizens living outside the country, reports IrTAG.
The first documents will be issued in diplomatic purposes, but the government plans to issue electronic passports for all applicants by the end of the Iranian year (March 21, 2016).
"Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within or outside the country must show respect for each citizen, as this is their most important responsibilities", - said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at a ceremony held in Tehran on the occasion of the presentation of the new e-passport system .
