Islamic Development Bank and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan discussed the creation of a new joint bank

Almaty. November 12. Silkroadnews - The head of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov held talks with President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani, sends KyrTAG.
During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of development of the Kyrgyz economy. Participants of the meeting discussed the establishment of a joint commercial bank, which will work according to the principles of Islamic finance.
In addition, the heads of the National Bank and the IDB touched upon the issue of opening the IDB representative in Kyrgyzstan, the next steps for the implementation of Islamic financial instruments by the National Bank for banks operating on Islamic principles of financing.
