Israel has increased its imports of Kazakhstani oil by 8.4 times in January-March

Almaty. May 4. Silkroadnews – In January-March 2016 Israel imported 186.9 thousand tons of crude oil from Kazakhstan in the amount of $50.6 million, which is 8.4 times higher in terms of volume and 7.5 times higher in terms of value if compared to the same period of 2015, the state revenue committee of the ministry of finance of the republic of Kazakhstan informs, KazTAG reports.

According to the data published, excluding Russia and Belarus, Kazakhstan exported 16.1 million tons of oil (+0.7%) in the amount of $4.5 billion (-41%). Major buyers of Kazakhstani oil are: Italy – 4.7 million tons (-3.7%) to $1.4 billion (-41.3%), Switzerland – 3 million tons (2.7 times more) to $839 million (+49.7%), the Netherlands – 2.2 million tons (-7.8%) to $583.3 million (-45.9%), France – 1.3 million tons (-10%) to $334.2 million (-47.6%), China – 958.4 thousand tons (-25.5%) to $246.1 million (-60%).
