Japan plans to double the number of tourists to Uzbekistan

Almaty. October 27. Silkroadnews - Japanese tour operators believe that the number of tourists from Japan to Uzbekistan can be increased at least twice. This was stated by Chairman of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Hiromi Tagawa, reports UzTAG.
"In 2016 we want to try to organize a tourist charter flights from Japan to Uzbekistan. This will contribute to our plans, we expect to double the flow of Japanese tourists wishing to visit Uzbekistan",- said Hiromi Tagawa during the Tashkent meeting of representatives of the business tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Japan.
According to the JATA, it is neccessay to strengthen the promotion of tourist product of Uzbekistan, including national cuisine, traditional clothes.
As part of the October 25 Uzbek-Japanese business forum, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the JATA and "Uzbektourism", which will also facilitate more intensive tourism exchange between the two countries.
The business meeting was held in the framework the official visit to Uzbekistan of Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
